What does Websites By WCMS do?

Websites By WCMS builds custom, mobile-friendly five page websites with foundational SEO for small businesses, contractors and local service providers, on a simple monthly subscription with hosting, security and updates included.

How much does a website cost?

$49 US a month, or CA$67 plus GST/HST in Canada, with no setup fee. That is our holiday special price. The regular price is $79 US a month from January, and if you sign during the special you keep your price for the full 36 months.

Is there a contract for the website subscription?

Yes. The subscription is a 36 month term, then it carries on month to month at the price you signed at.

What is included in the monthly subscription?

A custom five page website (Home, About, Services, Contact and one more of your choosing), your domain name, hosting with SSL, off-site backups and uptime monitoring, software and security updates, 15 minutes a month for changes and support, and a leads list you can open on your phone.

Do I need to pay for website development upfront?

No. There is no setup fee and no deposit. Your first month is charged when you sign, and that is what starts the build.

How long does it take to build a website?

Seven business days from when we have your content, such as your services, photos and contact details, not from when you sign.

Do I own my website?

Your domain is registered in your name from day one. The website becomes yours once your 36 months are done, or sooner if you pay off the rest of your term.

Can I cancel?

Yes, with 30 days notice. Leaving early has a minimum of $1,000 US, or CA$1,400 plus tax, and every monthly payment counts toward it. It only applies once you approve your homepage design.

Can Websites By WCMS redesign my existing website?

Yes. If you already have a website, we can replace it with a new one, and your domain stays exactly where it is while we point it at the new site.

Does Websites By WCMS design websites for contractors?

Yes. The service is built for contractors, tradespeople and local service businesses.

Do you work with businesses outside Vancouver?

Yes. We build websites for businesses across Canada and the United States, with everything handled by phone, email or text.
