TAPNET Terms of Use

TAPNET Terms of Use

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of TAPNET websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms for the duration of your subscription or other service period described at checkout or in an order form (the “Contract Period”). Unless you cancel in accordance with these Terms, the Contract Period renews automatically.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. In that case, “you” and “your” refer to the organization.

1. Eligibility and Your Agreement

You may use the Services only if you can form a legally binding contract and are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services from time to time. We may also remove or restrict content or access to protect the Services, comply with law, or prevent abuse.

2. Your Account and Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.

You must notify TAPNET promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse of your account.

3. Your Content and Files

You may provide information, files, folders, text, images, and other materials through the Services (collectively, “Your Content”).

You retain ownership of Your Content. TAPNET does not claim ownership of Your Content.

You grant TAPNET a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the Services. This license includes working with trusted service providers that help us deliver the Services.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and your communications while using the Services. You confirm that you have all rights needed to upload, use, and share Your Content.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

We do not share Your Content except as you instruct, as needed to provide the Services, or as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Sharing and Public Content

The Services may include features that let you share content with others or make content public. Once content is shared or made public, others may copy, modify, or redistribute it. TAPNET is not responsible for what others do with content you choose to share.

TAPNET may review public content to enforce policies or address abuse, but we are not obligated to monitor content on the Services.

6. Software and Updates

Some Services require you to install TAPNET software (“Software”). TAPNET grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the Software solely to access and use the Services.

You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Software, except to the extent permitted by law.

The Software may update automatically. By using the Services, you agree to receive updates that may be required for continued use.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. You must not:

  • Probe, scan, or test the security of any system or network
  • Bypass or circumvent security or authentication controls
  • Access nonpublic areas of the Services or systems without authorization
  • Disrupt users or networks, including by sending malware, flooding, or spamming
  • Use the Services to distribute malware or harmful code
  • Scrape or access the Services using methods other than supported interfaces
  • Send unsolicited promotions or spam, including phishing or spoofing
  • Publish content that is fraudulent, misleading, or infringes rights of others
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation
  • Publish unlawful pornographic or indecent content, or content that promotes hatred or violence
  • Violate any law, privacy right, or defame others

8. Fees, Billing, and Renewals

Fees are payable in advance according to the pricing shown on our website or in an order form (the “Pricing”). Pricing may change from time to time. Updates apply when posted or communicated, and will apply at renewal unless stated otherwise.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each Contract Period unless you cancel in accordance with these Terms. If you pay by card, you authorize TAPNET to charge your payment method for renewal fees when due.

Usage limits may apply to certain Services. If your actual usage exceeds the usage level included with your plan, we may move you to a plan consistent with your usage and charge the applicable fees.

All fees are nonrefundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law.

9. Free Trial Period

If a Service is offered with a free trial, charges will not begin until the trial ends, unless you convert to a paid plan earlier. Billing details may be required during the trial.

To avoid charges, you must cancel before the end of the trial period. If you do not cancel, the subscription will convert to a paid plan and fees for the first Contract Period will become due.

10. Money Back Guarantee

Some Services may include a money back guarantee as described at purchase. To request a refund under a guarantee, you must notify us in writing before the guarantee period ends.

If a free trial applies, a money back guarantee may not apply unless explicitly stated at purchase.
